South Yarra

Melbourne's Ultra Hip, Chic and Trendy Suburb. Mingle with the beautiful..

South Yarra, Prahran & Toorak

Candy Bar, Greville St South Yarra is a residential suburb extending from St. Kilda Road to Williams Road, Toorak, bordered on the north by the Domain, the Botanic Gardens and the Yarra River, and on the south by Commercial Road, Prahran. South Yarra as a residential address approaches that of Toorak and certainly Melbourne's most fashionable and ultra chic suburb. The sophistication is immediately apparent when strolling through the precincts main streets Toorak Road and Chapel Street.

Countless boutiques, jewellers, fashion and exclusive Homewares outlets are found, offering the latest coolest clothing, street ware and designer labels. Scattered amongst the shops are countless cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs so take a seat, grab a bite to eat and enjoy some serious people watching.

Strolling further down Chapel Street you will come across the 'Jam Factory' which is a large shopping and entertainment complex. It contains a wide range of specialty stores, an eight-screen cinema complex and again plenty of bars and restaurants.

Prahran

Shopping on Chapel Located just after South Yarra and down Chapel Street beginning at Commercial Road. It is populated with a broad range of ethnic backgrounds living in narrow leafy streets and small Victorian cottages. One of Melbourne's most interesting shopping precincts, with a large number of antique bric-a-brac shops and upmarket clothing boutiques.

Running off Chapel Street, beside the Prahran Town Hall is where you will find Greville Street. A great and unique quirky collection of off beat retro / grunge clothing shops, galleries, book stores, junk shops, with good bars and cafes that are well worth checking out.

Toorak

Toorak is our most affluent suburb within Melbourne and home to our wealthiest homeowners. These are the residencies of our well to do, with property values in the high Millions. Toorak itself does not offer much interest for travellers, however it is worth taking a drive along the tree-lined streets and sightsee all the beautiful estates and homes.
